Delicious food and great atmosphere. We tried the fried green tomatoes and they were probably the best I’ve had. We also tried the hot honey chicken sliders which were equally delicious. My husband got the shrimp and grits, they were hot fresh and tasty. I ordered the chicken blt with had a sweet yummy jelly on it! We were very pleased with everything. I hope I can go back to try the dessert, but I was just too full

Service was amazing. Savannah was friendly and continued to check in to make sure our meal was wonderful. Food came out all together and portions are quite large! Delicious. Chicken was cooked perfectly. The Mac and cheese was awesome, and the fried green tomatoes are a must! Everything was very good. From the sweet tea to the entrees to the dessert, 5 stars. Ambiance and decor is great. Wonderful location and surroundings. Love the theme and style.

We were visiting Jacksonville from out of state and wanted to find somewhere with great Shrimp and Grits. When searching, Ida Claire came up and the menu looked great. Upon arrival we were immediately impressed by the atmosphere and warm welcome from the staff. The menu is 100% made from scratch and boy could you tell! The whole restaurant smelled fantastic! The food tasted superb and the staff was so kind and accommodating. My mother and I both have celiac so we got the shrimp and grits and our waitress made sure to let the kitchen know for cross contamination purposes. I eat shrimp and grits from all over and I believe this to have been the best I’ve had so far! We will definitely stop by here any/every time we are back in Jacksonville! The eclectic vibe and decor was also a huge plus! Every part of the restaurant is decorated uniquely!

Great service from super friendly wait staff. They offer movie night on Thursdays. We ordered the honey chicken slider appetizer,so good. I ordered the shrimp& asiago grits, was the best shrimp&grits I have ever had. My husband got their ribs,I tasted a piece of one and they are so flavorful. Cant forget the awesome bisquits with choice of 3 toppings.(Butter,marmalade, bacon cream sauce) Definitely recommend this place.

We enjoyed the breakfast at Ida Claire. Cute vibe with all of the plates on the wall in the dining area and nice sized bar. I'm usually not a fan of biscuits as the base of my eggs benedict, but it was delicious with the fried green tomatoes. My husband really liked the biscuits and gravy... especially the bacon gravy and the grits were tasty too! We'll definitely come back to try other menu items.

The food is amazing here. We started off with the biscuits, which came with a smoky bacon gravy, honey butter and pineapple/strawberry jam. Well worth it. Then we had the smoked pork chop which came with a medley of sweet potatoes, kale and peppers. The other entree was Nashville hot chicken tenders on pimento cheese toast served with pickles. We also tried the lobster mac and cheese. Everything was perfect. Service by Tyler H was incredible. He is extremely knowledgeable with every aspect of the menu and how items are cooked. He gave excellent recommendations. The atmosphere is wonderful. We will definitely be back soon.

Loved the interior and the service was very good. Food was good but for the price point and hype I just expected amazing, and that is not what I received. We had the smoked chicken salad, a Nashville hot tenders, a spiced grilled chicken, brussels sprouts, a Nashville Cauliflower, peel and eat shrimp, potato wedges, and a chicken and kale salad. If you look at the menu you'll see a nice selection of comfort foods but we try to lean toward the healthier side, so perhaps that is our mistake here. Each dish was good, just not great. The flavors were off and the wow factor was missing. I would consider going back to sample some of the less "healthy" options like the Monte Cristo sandwich which is one of my personal favorites, but based on the selections we made on this visit, they earned a solid 4 stars.

I wish I could rate Ida Claire higher than 5 stars. This place was amazing in every possible way. Unique, quirky atmosphere, impeccable service, and amazing food at a reasonable price. Our waiter, Kyle, was the perfect amount of attentive. We didn’t have to ask for refills, he would offer something if he saw we might need it, and he even had to-go drinks prepared for us without them having to be requested when we were done with our meal. He was polite, helpful, hospitable, and had a great personality. In terms of speed, we didn’t have to wait long at all for our food, and our table included four people. When the food did come, it was amazing. I don’t remember what my friends ordered, but I had the Harvest Ravioli and the dips and spreads starter; it was so good, I didn’t save any for leftovers. We were all very satisfied with our dishes. And I couldn’t believe my total was only 27–before tip—for the ravioli, half of an appetizer (split between my friend and I), and a Coke! For that great of service, and such quality food! I will definitely be going here again next time I am in the area.
